Maca is a Peruvian radish with superfood properties, and has used by indigenous Andean peoples for thousand of years for increased stamina and balancing of hormones. We also love this combination of maca and Tanzanian chocolate for the unique malty taste it creates. This cacao has a medicinal dosage of maca, and the cacao acts as a vasodilator, delivering the maca deeper into the body’s tissues. The particular maca we use is grown on a spring fed family farm at 13000 feet, and is a custom blend of the red, black, and yellow varieties.
