Now the fragrant scent of South American Palo Santo Bursera graveolens is blended with white copal, in the form of incense sticks. Each stick is hand made by grinding the finest palo santo wood into a powder and then dipping the sticks in resin and rolling the ground herb onto the stick, drying and packaging them. A long burning incense. Made in USA. 6 sticks per pack.

Copal is sacred to the indigenous cultures of the Central and South Americas. It is burned year round in the churches in Mexico, but is best known for its use in the homes during Day of the Dead. It is said that the familiar scent of Copal helps the souls find their way back during their annual visit home. This copal has a light, sweet and very pleasant aroma. It uses can be for inspiration, attraction, invocation, happiness and celebration. 

Palo Santo (Burseara Graveolens) Palo Santo or Holy Stick is a natural wood aromatic incense used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune. as well as for ethno-medicinal purposes. It has a fine citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative. It is often used by shamans in sacred plant spirit ceremonies. 

Burning instructions:

Use matches or a lighter and leave the flame at the end of the stick for about 5 seconds until the tip burns.
Leave the flaming stick for another 5 seconds then blow it off.
If necessary, repeat the first two steps once or twice.
Make sure ashes fall in a proper fire proof vessel (incense holder, shell, etc.).
When done put the stick out.
Reuse or let it all burn at once.
Keep in a dry place away from children.
